The General French programme at EP Paris is designed to help you develop your French language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. You will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a communicative approach with the help of our experienced and suitably qualified teachers. You will have multiple opportunities to learn and practise your French language skills in a variety of 'real-life' situations around campus and through our social programme. You will also be able to improve your pronunciation and develop your grammar and vocabulary range.
At EP Paris, we offer six levels of General French Courses, ranging from beginner to advanced. Our Beginner level class is great for new students with some reading and writing skills. If you are just starting out your French language journey, you can boost your learning with additional one-on-one classes. For those with strong communication skills, we have an Advanced General French class. If you want to learn faster, you should consider our 'Semi-intensive' course. This option is perfect if you want to prepare for an exam as well. If you prefer a more relaxed pace and want extra time to explore the city while you study, we recommend our 'Classic' or 'Semi-intensive' courses.
After you take a General French Classic course at EP Paris, you should:
Be able to speak French more confidently and fluently.
Have improved your listening, reading and writing skills.
Have developed your French vocabulary knowledge.
Have a better understanding of complex French grammatical structures.
Have a greater knowledge of useful functional language needed in everyday real-life situations.
To get the most out of your learning experience, we recommend that you attend at least 85% of classes, complete all homework given, and do self-study as directed by your teacher. Lessons are taught Monday to Friday, 15 hours over 5 days during morning timetable (9:00 - 12:15).
