Course description

Located on a beautiful private school campus just 30 minutes from downtown Victoria, our Victoria Junior Explorer Residence program combines engaging morning ESL classes with fun onand off-campus afternoon and evening activities.

What makes this program truly unique is our Canadian Buddies. Local Victoria students ages 12 to 15 join our program Monday to Friday from 11:30am to 4:30pm, providing language practice and friendship.

• Victoria Bug Zoo
• Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea (Aquarium)
• Beacon Hill Children’s Farm

We offer English classes at eight levels of General ESL as well as Specialized English courses like English for Business, Power Speaking, Cambridge FCE and CAE preparation, English for High School, and Teen Activity Programs. As Victoria’s only IELTS Test Centre, we also offer full-time, part-time and evening classes in IELTS preparation.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
