Spanish for Kids (7 to 12 years old)
Our 'Kids Club' is a special form of family holiday. While your children are having Spanish classes, you have time for yourself. You can discover the region of Tarifa, practise numerous sports or simply relax in the Spanish sun. And if you feel like improving your language skills, you too can attend a Spanish course at our Spanish language school in Spain!

Our 'Spanish for Kids in Spain Program' is designed for children who travel with their parents and stay with them. If you want to avoid the stress of having to search for accommodation, we are happy to help you with our offer of apartments, hostals, hotels and camping sites in Tarifa. We can also provide you with information on rental cars.

In the morning we take care of your children and offer them an active and instructive Spanish language classes. We also offer them the chance to meet Spanish children of their own age, who will accompany them during some activities outside the classroom: the perfect opportunity to put the theory into practice!

We want the children to have as much fun as possible, so we have created a varied and entertaining Kids Spanish Language Program. From Monday to Friday the children have two classes of 45 minutes in the classroom in order to acquire some basic theoretical understanding of the Spanish language. The diverse activities outside our Spanish language school will not only help the children to apply their knowledge of Spanish, but also give them a unique chance to experience another culture.

Accompanied by their teachers they will discover the town of Tarifa and its culture in a manner adapted to their age group. Tarifa is the ideal location for a Spanish Kids Program Spain, as the town is not too large and it is regarded as being an extremely safe place. Everything is within easy walking distance.

The opportunity to meet and communicate with Spanish children will serve them well, as they will understand that communication between humans isn't always so easy. We consider it wise to start intercultural activities with children as early as possible to foster the childs understanding of other countries and cultures.

The objective of our 'Spanish for Children Program' is to create an enthusiasm about this insight into another language and culture, which will last long after this family holiday is over. Perhaps we can also strengthen their interest to continue learning Spanish when the course has ended!

One of the best Spanish language schools in Spain. Hispalense is situated in Tarifa, Southern Spain, and was founded in 1989 as one of the first language schools in Cadiz Province.

For students that already have previous studies in Spanish or a rough knowledge of the language, courses start every monday. For those students who will be studying Spanish for the very first time, courses start every second week. You can find the exact entry dates.

The duration of the Spanish courses is individually chosen by each student. There is a minimum duration of ONE WEEK

An Interactive Language Program can be organized with local Spanish students practising English or German, giving you the chance to put the theory into practice with a structured exchange of conversation.

Information about local events and art exhibits can be found through consultation with our teaching team.

Cultural trips are part of the program, with regular visits to Guzman El Bueno Castle, and other sites of cultural interest in the area.

I felt really good to be there, everyone was nice and it was fun too! The teachers were great, they were understanding and sympathetic. Once in a week there was a dinner, the students could attend there by choice, to practice the language. I really can recommend it.

Apartment by the beach

These are holiday apartments with a wonderful view of the sea. Most facilities also have a swimming pool at their guests' disposal, which can usually be used between June 15th and September 15th.

Parking spaces are available directly in front of the facilities.

Bedding and towels will be provided in all apartments, but please bring your own beach towels. Also, there will be a washing machine and TV at your disposal.

The distance to both the language school and the old town centre is approximately 15-20 minutes on foot.

Type D Accommodation

Apartment in the old town

For those who are looking for accommodation of a higher standard we have a couple of places that we consider outstanding.

These apartments are suitable for all those students who want to live alone or are travelling with friends or family and want to live in or close to the town centre. Since it is a matter of personal taste, furniture etc. was not considered one of the criteria for choosing the apartments, but rather the atmosphere and character that we feel from them. Moreover we have a good knowledge of the housing conditions in Tarifa and can assure you that these places are suitably priced.

We offer apartments in the old and charming town centre as well as in the newer part of Tarifa. They are all located at a walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes to the beach or to our Spanish language school in Spain. We have smaller studios available for one person or couples as well as larger apartments with one or more bedrooms for families or friends who would like to travel together.

Some of our apartments boast a roof terrace with a panoramic view over the Tarifan rooftops or with views to the sea and Africa.

Just let us know your requests and we will search for the most suitable apartment for you. Please feel free to contact us and request pictures of the apartments by e-mail.

Bedding and towels will be provided in all apartments, but please bring your own beach towels. Also, there will be a washing machine and TV at your disposal.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Tarifa based on your budget, schedule and preferences.

Travel insurance
