International Colleagues School of English
Improve your word-recall, fluency, and ability to use English through this poetry writing course.
Each morning will have two parts – the first part will be looking at and analysing poetry. Students will be encouraged to discuss their views of the poems, as well as looking at the various language techniques that the poets employ, the contexts of the poems, and other relevant matters.
The second part of the morning will involve writing poetry and – for those who wish to – sharing what has been written, so that the group can give feedback. This ‘workshopping’ process is favoured by creative writing classes, and will help to improve your writing, and your English – both in giving and receiving feedback.
There will also be two afternoon sessions, one where we go write ‘on location’, and another where we combine art with poetry.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:30am – 1:00pm. Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Activities & trips: 2 afternoon activities and 1 trip included
Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Grammar and Activities

Even before arriving in England, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful, supporting me with all the organization and correspondence. A special thank you goes to Maria Teresa for her constant support and kindness.
The accommodation was very comfortable and equipped with everything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
The classes were very interesting because the teachers used an interactive and engaging teaching method: we learned while having fun. The lessons were also adapted to our interests, making them even more effective and enjoyable. The teachers were always available, encouraging, and professional.
The school also organized several weekend trips and activities, all very well planned and interesting. One of the things I appreciated the most was the opportunity to spend time after lessons with a local buddy, an English girl who showed us around Norwich while helping us improve our speaking skills in a natural and relaxed way.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience that allowed me not only to improve my English, but also to discover a new culture, meet new people, and create beautiful memories. I honestly cannot think of anything I did not like!
