«Berliner Sprachenschule» (BSS), founded in 1996, is now one of the leading language schools in Germany. The school has state accreditation and, along with the Chance-BJS gGmbH, is the constituent part of the Professional Educational Center of Berlin.

«Berliner Sprachenschule» designs a tailor-made program for every student. Our prospective students will have the obligatory placement test and an interview. In accordance with the test and interview results, we will pick up a suitable group for you in conformity with your level.

Intensive language courses offer to study phonetics, grammar, lexica, spoken and written German and assumes 100 academic hours per month. Lessons are conducted from Monday to Friday from 08:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. or from 13:15 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.
Moreover, the Berliner Sprachenschule conducts enhanced specialized programs, such as for example, Business Language and Spoken Language Courses. For foreign language teachers and students, we offer special advanced training courses and preparation courses for international examinations.

During school vacations, we offer language training and cultural studying programs for senior pupils (from 13 years). You can find more detailed information about this program in the section "Courses": "Language and Culture for children and juniors".
As the teaching aids for our classes, we use both textbooks and everyday information sources (newspapers, magazines, TV and radio programs).

All German and English language teachers at the Berliner Sprachenschule are either professionally qualified native-speakers or highly experienced teachers with a German university degree in linguistic studies.

"Very educational and a dynamic way of teaching."

It was in 1984 when we started teaching German as a foreign language. Since then thousands of students from all over the world joined our classes and many of them returned a second and sometimes a third time. Both of our schools are in the very centre of the two most attractive German cities: Munich and Berlin. Thanks to our highly qualified teachers, the welcoming atmosphere and the modern teaching facilities we have earned a very good international reputation. In our classrooms, students from all over the world meet to learn German. Our teachers as well as the other members of our school office team are always available for advice. A student library and free internet access (even wireless) is at our students‘ disposal. Our fully equipped kitchen is a popular hang-out during the breaks and enables an intensive exchange between students and teachers beyond lesson time. Here, extra-curricular activities for the evenings and weekends are planned and these often form the beginning of lasting friendships. BWS Germanlingua is committed to offering quality German language courses to foreigners in a pleasant environment that respects the values of each participant, with the aim of strengthening communication between different linguistic communities in the world. We do not only focus on teaching the German language, but also the German culture and costumes. Our staff and teachers will do their utmost to integrate every student and will always be happy to help and give advice also beyond teaching hours to make Germany your home away from home! ALPADIA Berlin Werbellinsee (Juniors)

"It was a very cozy and friendly kind of school"

Feet in the water (or nearly). Our course center is ideally located on the banks of lake Werbellinsee. Surrounded by the forest, our campus is set in a vast protected estate of more than 100 hectares, where nature and lake prevail. We have our own beach, sports hall, beach volleyball courts, large-screen movie theater, kiosk and night club as well as many other sports and leisure facilities to encourage a social atmosphere. Each bedroom is complete with a private bathroom with shower. Classrooms are perfectly fitted for stimulating language teaching and located only a few meters away from the bedrooms. Students enjoy free internet access throughout the campus. All of the major Berlin attractions are within easy reach thanks to weekly excursions offered by ALPADIA.
