Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Bogota. These homes are often between 20 - 30 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. The Spanish school is located in one of the most traditional neighborhoods of Bogota, Chapinero Alto, which remains untouched. Families still run the small supermarkets and shops on the corner, while young locals are opening up new hotspots. it is a very trendy and beautiful part of Bogotá.
It is close to tourist, cultural and business areas, homestay accommodation, hotels, and apartments for rent, recreation facilities, parks, and numerous shops and restaurants.
The biggest parks (National Park and Simon Bolivar Park) in Bogota are 15 minutes away from the school and there are many opportunities to practice sports. also Every Sunday you can enjoy the "Ciclovia": kilometers of main roads that are closed for cars across the city, and are used by bicycle riders and people who love jogging or for strolling with dogs.
The Spanish School is also easily accessible by buses from any part of the city and just 30 minutes from the international airport and bus terminal.
